The mission of the Department of Recreation at Akdeniz University is to train highly qualified recreation specialists in the light of universal values, who can adapt to the ever-changing and renewing global conditions and technology and perceive the needs of the age, who will contribute to the understanding of the importance of recreation science in academic and social life in our country, who are virtuous, knowledgeable, contemporary, ethical, constructive, creative, respectful to human rights, lifelong learning, teaching and communication skills, and who are highly qualified for the future of generations.
